UPTONAWAY ATTEND
INTERNET WORLD EXHIBITION The Internet World Exhibition covers the new Internet and digital strategies, technologies and tools that are vital to business professionals and their agencies and is regarded as the UK’s largest B2B internet event.
The exhibition largely featured on the concept that is being referred to Web 2.0. Blogging, Podcasting and RSS feeds are all examples of the next generation of the internet; experiences that are more interactive than the traditional static web pages. Web 2.0 is not a new concept though, its evolution is credited to have began in the Autumn of 2004 and Uptonaway has been busy preparing solutions for our client base for some time now. On the benefits of attending the event, Uptonaway's Chris Rivett commented: "There were a series of keynote speeches from some of the Internet’s leading business directors and that provided us with the opportunity to preview the next wave of internet innovations and ensure that we continue to stay ahead of the game. "In turn, that will allow Uptonaway Media to provide solutions that offer our ever growing client base the same benefit of keeping ahead of their competition. We have been able to evaluate how the big companies are using the new tools to attract and keep consumers and see how those concepts can work for our customers. The web, alongside television and other media, is very much becoming on-demand viewing and the opportunities Web 2.0 concepts like blogging and RSS feeds can offer businesses and individuals alike to promote their activities are massive." If you are interested in finding out how we believe you would be wrong not to investigate integrating these concepts alongside your current site please feel free to get in touch. We will be happy to evaluate what benefits may be available to you, drop us a line on on 0870 116 2420 or email web20@uptonaway.co.uk. Tern Associates (RSS feed) and Football Developments Schools (Blog) are just two companies we have worked with recently to introduce new concepts. Have a look at these examples to get an idea of how they have been able to improve their communication with their customer base.
