RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and basically, as long as you have got some content that you wish to broadcast, the only other thing you will need is an RSS text file and before you know it, you will have a very easy way to distribute your news.

For the technically curious amongst you, RSS is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing web content.
