BUSINESSES UTILISE OUR LATEST SERVICE TO GOOD EFFECT

The expansion of Uptonaway Media's range of services into the field of video editing is providing a popular decision with clients. FootballCV.com and Football Development Schools were the first to see the opportunities that this would present to them during June and hired out Uptonaway's services to commission work for on and offline purposes.

The Grass Roots Football Show 2007 took place at the Ricoh Arena, home of Coventry City, at the start of the month and to compliment their promotional material on their stand, Uptonaway produced a short video clip of highlights from their trials days to loop round on a big screen at the back of stand during the weekend show.

At the start of June, Football Development Schools chose to upgrade their audio podcast into a video one. FDS became the first football coaching company in the UK to produce a podcast back in September 2006 with the aim of keeping the parents of the children who attend their courses up-to-date with plans for their business. The natural progression to a video podcast meant a change of angle with the footage aimed at the young players themselves who attend their weekly development schools and became a world first in terms of providing a free widely accessible football coaching video in a podcasting format.

Uptonaway Media has also teamed up with the Midlands branch of the Duke of Edinburgh's award to record a short promotional piece for the Award Scheme. The video clip was an overview of a meeting between Award Sporting Ambassador Monty Panesar and a group of promising cricketers from Birmingham.

The footage will be premiered at the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Midlands) presentation evening on Wednesday 4th July before being made available to be streamed online on a number of websites who promote the Award.
